Locked on Redskins - 8/25/18 - Adrian Peterson delivers against Broncos, rest of offense not so much

So it's safe to say we got pretty much the best results we could ask for when it came to Adrian Peterson's debut with the Redskins. The rest of the offense though?

Ehhh, not great.

Peterson ran the ball 11 times for 56 yards, ripped off some big runs, and showed he may still have something left in the tank. At least enough to fill a need for the Redskins this season.

People on Twitter though had trouble with my sarcasm font last night.

It was pretty apparently though that Alex Smith needs more time with his receivers before Week One against the Cardinals. There were a lot of issues, and if it carries over to the regular season, the "Jay Gruden doesn't get his guys ready in preseason" narrative will definitely show it's face again
