Last year was a mess when it came to player's health on the Redskins.
There were times when Jay Gruden would spend half of his press conference listing off all the injuries.
Fast forward to 2018, where the Redskins have a new "'state of the art' recovery center at Redskins Park" in an effort to "curtail season-ending injuries and eliminate some of the physical wear". They saw the issue, and finally took some action.
Hopefully Josh Doctson and Jordan Reed rented rooms at this place.
Daron Payne is already set to miss a couple weeks with an ankle injury, but Gruden doesn't seem all that concerned (maybe he's numb to it all by now?). Sure it's early, but look back at the recent history of Redskins first-round picks. Not pretty when it comes to how much time they missed their rookie seasons.
Today, hear from Doctson along with Jonathan Allen, the last two first round picks that had to push through the rookie season injury bug.
