guy locks himself inside ATM, likely gets made fun of by every co-worker he has

There's a lot of crazy places you can get locked in. Your car, a museum, a bad relationship maybe. I have to say though, this might be the craziest place yet that any human has needed rescuing from.
An ATM. Seriously?
That's exactly what this poor sucker did in Texas. He locked himself inside an ATM.
Now, I have to be honest, if I was using an ATM, and saw a note slide out instead of cash, I'd without a doubt think this was some stupid prank and look around for a hidden camera. Let's be honest, with all the dumb realty shows out there, we're all bound to be caught on camera for at least ONE in our lives.
Luckily there was a police officer driving near the waterfront in Corpus Christi, Tex. and was waved down to figure this whole thing out. Even HE didn't believe it was real until the machine started talking to him.
“Sure enough, we can hear a little voice coming from the machine,” Corpus Christi police officer Richard Olden told the local Fox affiliate.
Think of what this cop had to think when he knocked down the door and found a dude hidden behind the machine, locked in the service room that housed the ATM.
Apparently the trapped guy was there to repair a door lock, until the door locked turned on him.
I feel like when you're fixing a lock, and maybe I'm crazy here, but you take more precaution. This repair guy apaprently forgot his phone and --wait for it--the device you need to open the door from the inside.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he had to tell his boss what happened.
In the future, he might want to at least stick something in the doorway, you know, to keep it propped open. Try your shoe, or I don't know, ANYTHING to prevent this. If this was my job that would literally be my worst fear and main precaution I take.
One thing's for sure though, everyone at work has enough ammo to pick on this guy for at least the next year, and there's nothing he can do to stop it.
